Following the finding of a flagrant crime or offence, the flagrancy investigation may be extended to all offences related to the flagrant crime or offence if there are close links between the facts under investigation, similar to those specifically provided for by law. An investigating chamber that merely holds that, during a flagrancy investigation, facts were brought to the attention of the investigators which, although prior to the flagrant acts, were of a similar nature to those acts and attributed to the same individual, gives insufficient reasons to characterise such a connection.
