This decision provides important clarification on your property law. Here is what it changes for you.
The situation
Interpreting the parties' agreements, the Court of Appeal rightly inferred that the portion of an employee's salary consisting of a percentage of the turnover achieved by the property investment companies (sociétés civiles immobilières) managed by the property development company that employed him was to be understood as a percentage of the amount of the sales for which a notarised deed had been executed before the employee's departure.
What the law says
This decision confirms the fundamental principles of property law.
