It follows from Articles L. 121-1, L. 123-4, L. 123-15 and L. 124-1 of the French Rural and Maritime Fishing Code that amicable exchanges of rural properties, even in the absence of a development perimeter, constitute a method of rural land development, based on the principle of equivalence of allocations, and that the co-exchangers may not derogate, without the tenant's consent, from the transfer of the agricultural lease to the plots acquired by the landlord.
