A Court of Appeal rightly holds that, by reason of the joint and several liability existing under Article 20 of the Law of 3 January 1967 between the co-owners of a ship for the payment to any one of the co-owners of his claim against that co-ownership without having to join the co-debtors thereof, the aforementioned text does not derogate from the provisions of Article 1203 of the Civil Code.
