The situation
It cannot be inferred from Article 694-3 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure, according to which international letters rogatory sent to France are executed in accordance with the rules laid down by the Code of Criminal Procedure, that the rules set out in Article 52-1, paragraph 2, of the same Code, relating to the exclusive jurisdiction of the investigating division in criminal matters, which concern only the designation of the judge in charge of a judicial investigation, apply to the execution of delegated acts.
