This decision provides important insight into your property law. Here is what it changes for you.
The situation
Law No. 75-1348 of 31 December 1975 having affiliated artist-authors with the general social security scheme, and the Maison des artistes having disseminated information notes to its insured members on the new social security scheme and its implications for the contributions to be paid for the various risks, and drew their attention to the fact that they would no longer have to pay contributions to the family allowance fund in respect of their self-employed activity, and that they should take steps to obtain the cancellation of the demand or the refund of any contributions paid to that effect to the URSSAF. A court of appeal, holding that it followed that the insured person concerned, who alleged a double payment, had received sufficient information about his affiliation from the competent body, correctly deduced that the URSSAF had not committed any fault.
