When a judgment contains several distinct heads and a party appeals against one of them, the respondent may cross-appeal against the other heads. The Court of Appeal is liable to be quashed if, in the context of a main appeal brought by the expropriating authority and limited to the amount of compensation fixed for two parcels, it declares inadmissible the cross-appeal brought by the expropriated party and relating to all the parcels.
