The situation

The conditions required by Article R. 421-1.10° of the Town Planning Code, which exempts from planning permission works whose ground surface area is less than 2 square metres and whose height does not exceed 1.50 metres above ground level, are cumulative. A building measuring 5.30 metres by 2.50 metres and 2.50 metres high, although almost entirely buried in the ground, therefore does not fall within the provisions of this text.
