The situation
The prohibition imposed by Article L 53-4 of the Code des débits de boissons (Beverage Licensing Code) on opening or transferring a licensed premises for on-premises consumption of categories 2, 3 or 4 within a perimeter of 200 metres around the boundary of an industrial zone, included in a published or approved town planning scheme, necessarily applies to the industrial zone itself, in its entirety.
